The authority forecasts a steady drop of two to three degrees Celsius over the coming days, bringing relief to residents.
The temperature fluctuations will be noticeable, with Cairo and Lower Egypt experiencing daytime temperatures decreasing from 29°C on Monday to 26°C by Friday. Nighttime temperatures will dip from 18°C to 16°C. In Egypt's deep south, morning temperatures will decline from 33°C to 30°C, while nighttime temperatures will reach 16°C by Friday.

Light morning fog is expected on some agricultural and main roads, particularly those near water bodies, and moderate winds may occasionally intensify.
On October 31, Egypt will transition to winter timing, setting clocks back one hour at midnight. The time zone will adjust from GMT+3 to GMT+2, marking a return to the standard winter schedule implemented since April.
This seasonal change promises to bring a welcome break from the intense heatwaves experienced during the summer months. As Egypt adjusts to its new winter schedule, residents can anticipate a more comfortable climate, perfect for outdoor activities and daily life.
