A big business meeting was recently held in Mumbai, India, where top leaders and businesspeople from both the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India came together. This important event was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
The meeting was organized by Dubai Chambers, a group that supports businesses in Dubai. During the event, it was announced that Dubai Chambers will open a second office in India, this time in Bengaluru. Their first office was opened in Mumbai in 2018. This move shows Dubai’s strong interest in growing its business connections with India.

At the meeting, two important government ministers gave speeches. Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE’s Minister of Economy, and Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, spoke about how strong the relationship is between the two countries. They said the new Dubai Chambers office in Bengaluru is a big step in helping the two nations work more closely together. This also supports the goals of the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, which aims to grow trade and business between both countries.
Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, explained how Dubai has been investing in important parts of India’s economy like transportation, warehousing, real estate, and IT services. At the same time, many Indian companies have been putting their money into Dubai’s software and IT services, business services, and consumer goods.
Al Mansoori said, “We want to make Dubai even more attractive for global investors and help Dubai businesses grow in other countries. Our international offices help us show the world what Dubai has to offer and why it’s a great place to do business.”
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Dubai International Chamber, also spoke at the event. He said that Dubai’s leaders understand how important it is to have strong trade relationships with other countries. He added that working closely with big economies like India helps make Dubai a global business hub and gives Emirati businesses more chances to grow in international markets.
He also said, “By connecting our business communities, we are opening new doors for trade and helping both countries become stronger together. These efforts are helping build strong trade routes and bringing shared success to both sides.”
This meeting showed a strong promise from both the UAE and India to grow together in business, trade, and investment. It also marked a new chapter in their growing friendship.
