He highlighted that this event is a key part of Dubai’s efforts to support creativity, inspire new talent, and create a sustainable environment where artists can share their innovative ideas. "Dubai Art Season is more than just a festival," he said. "It reflects the spirit of Dubai, its future goals, and its ability to attract talent from all over the world."
One of the highlights of the season is the fourth edition of the Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert festival, which runs from January 4 to 12, 2025. Another major event in the Dubai Art Season is the Al Quoz Arts Fest, which will take place on January 25 and 26, 2025. Held in the Al Quoz Creative Zone and Alserkal Avenue, this festival will feature over 200 artistic and cultural events, showcasing music, art, and performances that celebrate Dubai's dynamic creative community.
The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature will also be part of the season, running from January 29 to February 3, 2025. This festival will bring together over 150 events, including author talks, panel discussions, and workshops. There will also be a special focus on Emirati culture, with contributions from local writers like Adel Khozam, Asmaa Al Remithi, and Nahla Al Fahad.
From January 31 to February 9, 2025, the 13th edition of the Sikka Art and Design Festival will be held at the Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood. This festival will feature a range of artistic displays by Emirati and regional artists, along with performances, workshops, and discussions. Visitors can explore unique visual arts and enjoy various entertainment experiences throughout the event.
As the season continues, the 18th edition of Art Dubai will be held from April 18 to 20, 2025, at Madinat Jumeirah. Art lovers can look forward to viewing contemporary and international art, attending expert-led workshops and discussions, and exploring four different sections: Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Art Dubai Digital.
