Dubai Ambulance Gears Up for Eid Al Fitr with 24/7 Emergency Care

The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) has announced that it is fully prepared to provide emergency medical services during the Eid Al Fitr celebrations. They have planned carefully to ensure that everyone in Dubai, whether they are residents or visitors, can quickly get help if they need it during the holiday period.

To make sure they are ready, ambulance teams will be stationed all around the city. These teams will be placed at Eid prayer grounds, popular celebration spots, and major public events throughout Dubai. The goal is to have medical help available 24 hours a day during the busy holiday.

His Excellency Mishaal Abdulkarim Julfar, the Executive Director of DCAS, explained that their ambulance teams are ready to respond to emergencies at any time, whether by land, sea, or air. He also mentioned that they are working closely with other organizations to make sure response times are as fast as possible.

To handle the expected increase in demand for emergency services during the holiday, DCAS has placed 723 trained workers at 138 different ambulance locations around the city. The team will be using many types of vehicles, including standard ambulances, fast-response vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, marine ambulances, and even air ambulances. The air ambulances will work together with the Dubai Police Air Wing Center to ensure quick help when needed. There will also be supervisors and commanders on-site 24/7 to manage everything smoothly.

In addition to the emergency vehicles, DCAS has made sure that backup resources are ready to support the teams. Medical teams will be placed at key locations such as residential neighborhoods, shopping malls, public parks, and places where many workers live. They will also be stationed at Dubai International Airport to help with any medical needs of the many travelers expected over the holiday. These medical staff will work with the airport authorities to make sure passengers get the care they need right away.

Julfar also mentioned that DCAS is constantly working to improve its services. This includes upgrading the ambulance fleet, using advanced technologies to speed response times, and using artificial intelligence to help make emergency services more efficient. These efforts have paid off, as DCAS achieved a 95.7% customer satisfaction rate in 2024.

Finally, Julfar extended his warm Eid greetings to the people of Dubai and reminded everyone to stay safe during the celebrations. He asked the public to follow safety rules, especially at places like mosques, prayer grounds, shopping malls, beaches, pools, parks, and mountain areas. He also reminded drivers to drive safely, obey traffic rules, and always give way to emergency vehicles.
