Allu Arjun Released on Interim Bail, Slept on Jail Floor Last Night

Actor Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday morning from his house in Hyderabad. This happened because of the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The stampede took place on December 4 during a special show of Pushpa 2: The Rule. A 35-year-old woman died in the stampede, and her 8-year-old son got injured. Many fans rushed to the theatre to see Allu Arjun, which caused chaos.

After his arrest, the police took Allu Arjun to the Chikkadpally police station. Later, he was brought before a court. The court said he should stay in jail for 14 days. After this, the police took him to Chanchalguda Central Jail with heavy security.

However, the Telangana High Court gave him interim bail on Friday evening. The court said he could go home for four weeks but had to pay ₹50,000 as a bond. Even after the bail was granted, Allu Arjun had to spend the night in jail. This was because the bail order paper came late.

While in jail, Allu Arjun was given prisoner number 7697. Sources said he had to sleep on the jail floor during the night. On Saturday morning, he was finally released. He quietly left the jail through the back gate to avoid the crowd and media.

Allu Arjun’s lawyer, Ashok Reddy, was upset about the delay in releasing him. He said, "We received the bail order, but they still didn’t release Allu Arjun. This is wrong, and we will take legal action. But for now, we are happy that he is out."

Outside Allu Arjun’s house, there was tight security. A lot of fans and reporters had gathered when they heard the actor would leave jail early on Saturday morning.

The stampede at Sandhya Theatre happened because thousands of fans gathered to see Allu Arjun at the movie show. The police filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management. The case was based on a complaint from the family of the woman who died.

After his arrest, Allu Arjun went to the Telangana High Court for help. He asked the court to cancel the case against him. The High Court gave him bail. The court said that Allu Arjun could not be blamed for the stampede because he was only doing his job by attending the movie show.
