They talked about ways to make the friendship between the UAE and Brazil stronger. Their focus was on important areas like energy and finding and using minerals. They also discussed how to share ideas and modern tools to help both countries grow and become richer.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Khaled watched the signing of an agreement between the UAE and Brazil. This agreement will help both countries work together in energy, mining, and other important areas. The agreement was signed by UAE Minister of Investment His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi and Brazil’s Minister of Mines and Energy His Excellency Alexandre Silveira.

This agreement follows Sheikh Khaled’s visit to Brazil last November. During that visit, he met Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and talked about working together in areas like clean energy, mining, and making smart investments that help the environment.

The new agreement will help both countries invest in finding and using minerals. It also includes plans for using new technology, doing research, and training workers for technical jobs.

Sheikh Khaled said the UAE is committed to being good partners with Brazil, especially in energy and mining. He said sharing knowledge and working on joint projects can help both countries grow and achieve their goals for a better future.

UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi said: “This agreement shows how strong our partnership with Brazil is. It will help both countries grow and work together on mining, energy, and new ideas. It’s a big step for both nations, and we believe it will bring benefits for many years.”

Brazil’s Minister of Mines and Energy Alexandre Silveira said: “Brazil is happy to work closely with the UAE. Together, we can make smart decisions for energy and minerals. This teamwork will help both countries grow and succeed.”

Many important people attended the meeting, including UAE ministers and leaders. These include Reem Al Hashimy, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, and others.

The meeting connects with Sheikh Khaled’s earlier visit to Brazil, where agreements were signed to help both countries work together better.

The UAE and Brazil already have strong trade and investments. The UAE is Brazil’s second-biggest trade partner in the Middle East. In just the first half of 2024, the trade between them was more than USD 2.64 billion.
