In a stark escalation of hostilities, Russian forces unleashed a barrage of over 50 missiles and deployed more than 20 drones in a devastating overnight assault on Ukraine's critical infrastructure, as reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy via Telegram. The assault, which occurred on Wednesday, coincided tragically with the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, underscoring the profound loss and devastation inflicted upon Ukraine.

Expressing his outrage and condemnation, Zelenskyy emphasized the imperative for the international community to unequivocally recognize the aggressor. He stressed that the world must grasp the true nature of the conflict and the existential threat posed by Russian aggression. Zelenskyy's impassioned plea highlighted the importance of upholding the principles of democracy and rejecting the resurgence of Nazism, calling upon the global community to stand firm against tyranny and uphold the values of freedom and justice.
