Despite a missed catching opportunity at the boundary rope, Unadkat continued to face pressure, with two wide deliveries adding to the drama. The tension escalated as Ashutosh Sharma of PBKS showcased his power-hitting prowess, striking two sixes to keep the chase alive. However, a couple of doubles and a wide followed, bringing Shashank Singh to the crease amidst heightened anticipation.

Despite a dropped catch by SRH's Rahul Tripathi, Shashank managed to score the maximum possible with a six off the final delivery. Nevertheless, since it was a legal delivery, Punjab Kings suffered a narrow 2-run defeat.
