A US airstrike hit a house in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa. The attack killed one person and hurt 15 others. The strike happened in Asr, a place in the western part of the city. Health workers said three children and two women were among the injured. People living nearby said the blast was "very strong," and buildings shook. Rescue workers were searching for people under the broken house. The US military has not spoken about the attack yet.

Earlier, US forces launched more airstrikes in Saada, a city in northern Yemen where the Houthis have strong control. Reports did not say how much damage happened or if anyone was hurt. The US also bombed the airport in Hodeidah, a city near the Red Sea, but no one was reported dead.

The airstrikes came after the Houthis said they had attacked a US warship, the USS Harry S. Truman, in the Red Sea. They also claimed to have fired a missile at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, but Israel said they stopped the attack. The Houthis said they are attacking Israel to help Palestinians in Gaza. They also said they will keep fighting against what they call "US attacks" in Yemen.

US President Donald Trump said the Houthis had attacked US ships and blocked trade in the Red Sea. He said the US needed to take "strong military action" to protect ships and warned that the US would keep using "deadly force" if needed. The fighting in Yemen is getting worse, and there is no sign it will stop soon.
