Residents of certain areas in Dubai and Sharjah are finding it difficult to resume their normal lives as streets continue to be flooded even six days after heavy rains hit the region. Reports indicate that several neighborhoods, including Al Majaz, Jamal Abdul Nasir, Al Wahda, Mudon, Warsan, and Discovery Gardens, are still grappling with waterlogging, making it challenging for residents to navigate through the inundated streets.
The situation has prompted many tenants to reconsider their living arrangements, with some expressing a reluctance to renew their tenancy contracts upon expiry. Instead, they are exploring the possibility of relocating to areas that are less prone to flooding, seeking more stable and safer living conditions for themselves and their families.
