In a significant move, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree approving the operational structure of the Sharjah Finance Department (SFD). This decree marks a pivotal step in enhancing the administrative framework governing financial matters within the emirate.
The Emiri Decree stipulates the formal endorsement of the working organizational structure of the SFD, which is attached to the decree itself. This signifies a comprehensive review and approval process undertaken by the relevant authorities to ensure alignment with the strategic objectives and operational requirements of the department.

As per the provisions outlined in the decree, the Executive Council is empowered to issue specific decisions aimed at facilitating the implementation of the approved organizational structure. These decisions encompass various aspects, including:
1. **Detailed Organizational Structure of SFD:** The Executive Council is tasked with finalizing and approving the detailed organizational framework of the Sharjah Finance Department. This entails delineating the hierarchy of roles and responsibilities within the department to optimize operational efficiency and clarity of functions.
2. **Approval of Job Descriptions:** In accordance with the competencies and requirements of the SFD, the Executive Council is authorized to approve job descriptions pertaining to the functions of different organizational units within the department. This step ensures that roles are clearly defined and aligned with the overall objectives of the department.
3. **Creation, Merger, or Cancellation of Organizational Units:** The decree empowers the Executive Council to make decisions regarding the establishment, consolidation, or dissolution of any organizational units affiliated with the SFD. This authority allows for the strategic realignment of departmental structures to better meet evolving needs and priorities.
By endorsing the operational structure of the Sharjah Finance Department through this Emiri Decree, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi underscores the government's commitment to promoting sound financial management practices and enhancing administrative capabilities.
