Shahid Kapoor Opens Up About Crying on Film Set After 'Bad' Heartbreak

Shahid Kapoor, a famous actor, recently talked about a time when he cried on a movie set because of a painful breakup. He shared that it wasn’t because of his work, but because his heart was broken.

In an interview with Faye D’Souza, Shahid was asked if he ever cried while working. He remembered one time when he did, and it was because he was going through a tough breakup. Shahid said his makeup artist tried to calm him down, telling him, “I just finished your makeup! Can you just not?” He explained how he couldn’t stop crying and said, “I can’t help it, I think I am destroying myself.” He made it clear that it wasn’t about his job, but about the breakup.

Shahid also talked about how men are often expected to be strong and take care of their families. He said that from a young age, men are taught they need to protect and provide for others. This can make them feel a lot of pressure. Shahid said, “Sometimes, you just want to relax and be like, ‘I don’t have to worry about everything all the time, and I can let someone else take care of me.’” He wondered why sometimes the roles can’t be switched.

Shahid said that everyone, including men, has feelings and it’s okay to show when you’re feeling weak. He explained that being vulnerable, or showing emotions, is not a bad thing. As an actor, he believes that showing vulnerability is powerful. He said that men should be okay with being emotional because it’s part of being human.

Shahid’s honest words help people see that even strong people can feel weak sometimes, and it’s okay to show those feelings.
