Dubai, UAE – October 2025: Renaissance Business Bay Hotel, Dubai, proudly continues its dedication to promoting global art and culture with the launch of “Lilium Art”, an exclusive exhibition by internationally acclaimed Serbian artist Łiljana Burćul, professionally known as Lily.
Lily’s artistic journey is as unique as her creations. Born in Belgrade, Serbia, and trained as a mechanical engineer, she channels her understanding of precision and structure into a fluid, expressive artistic language. Since 1997, Lily has devoted herself to the delicate craft of painted silk, transforming this medium into a conduit for both tangible and transcendent beauty.
Her signature technique combines pigment, water, alcohol, and salt in an almost alchemical rhythm, producing intricate layers of color and depth. To enhance the effect, Lily incorporates Swarovski crystals, fine glass, quartz, and gold, giving each piece a luminous, dynamic quality. The result is a collection in which silk seems alive, shimmering with emotion, movement, and reflection.
“Art is not only an expression, it is a way of life,” says Lily. “Each painting is a conversation between beauty and harmony, between the material and the soul.” Through her brand Lilium Art, she presents a unified vision of balance, light, and love, inviting viewers to experience her creations not as static objects, but as living moments of connection.
Renaissance Business Bay Hotel hosts this exhibition as part of its monthly series celebrating international artists, reinforcing its philosophy of creating meaningful experiences through art, culture, and human connection. Guests and visitors can explore the fusion of craftsmanship, creativity, and inspiration that Lily’s work embodies.
