North Korea has spoken out against the United States for sending a B-1B bomber to take part in a joint military exercise with South Korea. This was reported by North Korea's state media, KCNA, on Thursday.
A spokesperson from North Korea's defense ministry said that the U.S. sending bombers to the region has become a "regular practice" and called it "reckless bluffing."

The B-1B bomber joined the joint drill between the U.S. and South Korea on Tuesday. South Korea's defense ministry confirmed that fighter jets also took part in the exercise.
In recent years, B-1B bombers have often been involved in these drills, which North Korea has always seen as practice for war against it. However, South Korea and the U.S. say the exercises are only for defense, not for starting a conflict.
North Korea has always opposed these military drills, calling them a threat to its security. The North views these exercises as a way for the U.S. and South Korea to prepare for an attack.
The statement from North Korea's defense ministry also said that the recent actions by the U.S. and South Korea were a "direct threat" to the safety of North Korea. They said this move shows how the U.S. and South Korea are working together in ways that make North Korea feel unsafe.
These kinds of military drills have caused tension for years between North Korea, the U.S., and South Korea. North Korea continues to speak out against them, saying they make the region more dangerous.
