Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor Reunite at Golden Globes 2025

Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor gave fans a happy surprise with a Moulin Rouge! reunion at the 2025 Golden Globes. The two stars, who acted as Satine and Christian in the famous 2001 movie, shared a warm moment on the red carpet.

While Ewan McGregor and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, were being interviewed, Nicole Kidman walked up behind them and said, “I hate to jump in the middle.” The interviewer was excited and said, “This is a Moulin Rouge! reunion!”

Kidman and McGregor hugged and kissed cheeks. Nicole laughed and said, “It’s funny because in Babygirl, his daughter is playing my daughter. The world is so small!” McGregor smiled and replied, “Great to see you, Nicole,” and she said warmly, “Love you,” before heading back to the red carpet.

Their reunion brought back memories of Moulin Rouge! Kidman won a Golden Globe for her role as Satine, and McGregor was also nominated for his role as Christian.
This year, Nicole Kidman is nominated for Best Actress in a Drama for her role in Babygirl. In the movie, she stars with Antonio Banderas in a story about family and emotions. She is up against other talented actresses, including Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl), Angelina Jolie (Maria), Tilda Swinton (The Room Next Door), Fernanda Torres (I’m Still Here), and Kate Winslet (Lee).

McGregor’s daughter, Esther McGregor, also stars in Babygirl as Kidman’s daughter. Esther is getting noticed in Hollywood and also acted in The Room Next Door, where she plays a younger version of Tilda Swinton’s character.

Ewan McGregor is also nominated for Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie for his role in A Gentleman in Moscow.
The sweet reunion on the red carpet was a joyful moment for fans and made the night extra special.
