The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the extremist remarks made by an Israeli cabinet official regarding the imposition of Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and the further expansion of settlements. The ministry expressed its grave concern, stressing that these provocative statements undermine ongoing peace efforts and jeopardize the viability of a two-state solution, which is widely regarded as the foundation for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The Saudi government highlighted that such statements not only encourage continued conflict but also foster extremism, further escalating tensions in an already volatile region. These actions are seen as a direct challenge to the principles of peace and security, as they threaten the stability of the entire Middle East. The ministry also emphasized that the expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied territories is a clear violation of international laws and United Nations resolutions, which have consistently condemned the practice.

Saudi Arabia described these actions as an attempt to reinforce occupation by force, a dangerous precedent that could have far-reaching consequences for international relations and the global order. In its statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed that this escalation represents an egregious violation of the rights of the Palestinian people and undermines efforts to bring about a just and lasting peace in the region.
Furthermore, the Saudi ministry pointed out the growing concerns about the international community's failure to address the situation. It warned that continued inaction would damage the legitimacy and credibility of the international system, threatening the sustainability of international peace and security. The Kingdom called on the international community to take immediate and effective steps to address the situation and ensure the protection of international law, human rights, and the pursuit of peace in the Middle East.
