Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell from London's Metropolitan Police confirmed that all five victims, including the fatally wounded teenager, were hospitalized. While the injuries sustained by the four surviving victims were deemed non-life threatening, the two police officers required surgery for their stab wounds.

In response to the tragedy, both Britain's King Charles and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed their condolences and commended the bravery of the emergency services. Buckingham Palace released a statement conveying the King's thoughts and prayers for those affected by the attack, particularly the family of the deceased victim.
