Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has been taken to the hospital in Thane after his health got worse. He was admitted to Akruti Hospital in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, on December 21. Kambli, 52, first complained about having a urinary infection and cramps, which led to his hospital visit. However, after doctors ran tests, they found clots in his brain.

Dr. Vivek Trivedi, who is treating Kambli, said the tests showed the brain clots, which are a serious health concern. Kambli’s condition is being watched closely, and the doctors will do more tests on Tuesday to check on his health. The hospital’s in-charge, S Singh, said that Kambli would get free treatment for life at the hospital as a special gesture.

Kambli has faced health problems for many years. He had two heart attacks in 2013, and he is also dealing with a severe urinary infection. After his cricket career ended, he faced financial troubles and had problems with alcohol addiction, which he has openly talked about. Despite these struggles, Kambli has always had the support of his friends, family, and former teammates.

Many former cricketers, including Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev, have offered help. His close friend and teammate, Sachin Tendulkar, has also been there for him. Kambli has said that Tendulkar helped him financially in the past, showing their strong friendship.

Kambli was recently seen at an event for his childhood coach, Ramakanth Achrekar. He appeared weak and emotional when he met Tendulkar at the event. Even though he has faced many challenges, Kambli is still loved by fans and is remembered for his great skills as a cricketer.

His family, friends, and fans are hoping for his recovery. This situation reminds everyone of how important it is to support players after they retire, as they may face difficulties. Kambli’s situation shows the care and respect he has earned over the years.
