Baku, Nov. 12 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a series of important meetings today with several heads of state and delegations attending the COP29 conference in Azerbaijan. The meetings included talks with President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani of Mauritania, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary, and Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Čović.
During these discussions, His Highness focused on strengthening the relations between the UAE and each of their countries, particularly in the areas of renewable energy, sustainability, and climate action. He highlighted the shared interests and potential for further collaboration in these fields, underscoring the importance of working together to advance the global climate agenda.
