Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, recently visited Sir Bani Yas Island. During his visit, he looked at the work being done to develop the island and improve tourism.

He was also given an update on recent archaeological digs on the island and the efforts being made to protect its history and culture. Sheikh Hamdan visited important places like the Sir Bani Yas Church and Monastery. He also toured the new Visitor Services Centre, which helps visitors learn about the island’s past and its cultural importance.

Sheikh Hamdan praised the plans to develop the island, saying it’s a great vision. He also admired the work being done to protect the island’s natural beauty and history. He believes the island can become a special place for tourists while still keeping its rich culture and environment safe.
