His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, attended a group wedding at Al Dhafra Fort. This was the 20th group wedding held in the region, where 76 couples from Al Dhafra celebrated their marriage. The event was supported by ADNOC Group to help young Emiratis start their family life.

His Highness spoke about the importance of group weddings. He said they help young people by making weddings less costly, bringing families together, and creating strong, happy families. He also said that these weddings show how much the country’s leaders care about helping people live good and stable lives.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the Medeem model for women’s weddings, which focuses on simple and traditional weddings. He said this model helps keep Emirati customs alive while meeting the needs of young people today.
His Highness said these group weddings are a great way to support young couples, keep families strong, and protect the UAE’s traditions. He thanked everyone involved for helping make this event a success and bringing joy to the couples and their families.
