International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) 2024: Shaping the Future of Government Communication Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024) will take place on September 4-5, 2024, at the Expo Centre Sharjah. This annual forum, organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), will focus on the theme ‘Agile Governments… Innovative Communication’, bringing together global leaders, experts, and professionals to explore the evolving landscape of government communication in the digital age.

Event Overview

IGCF 2024 aims to redefine government communication strategies by addressing how agile governments can effectively manage and communicate their policies in the face of rapid global changes. The two-day event will feature a series of expert-led discussions, constructive dialogues, and interactive workshops. These will delve into innovative communication strategies, tools, and models that support resilient governments and advance their goals across various domains including social, economic, cultural, and tourism sectors.

  1. Economic Resilience: The forum will examine how government communication can bolster economic resilience and sustainable growth. The forum will showcase best practices and innovative communication strategies essential for governments to achieve their aspirations,” said Allay.
