Fujairah Crown Prince Opens 2025 Monodrama Festival

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, went to the opening of the Fujairah International Monodrama Festival 2025. The event happened at the Creative Centre Theater in Fujairah. It is being held under the care of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, who is the Ruler of Fujairah. Many important guests were there. These include Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Mr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno from Egypt who was the special guest, Mrs. Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of Education, and Mr. Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, who helps lead the event.

The Crown Prince said that Fujairah is known for its big role in art and culture. He said the emirate helps grow theatre, and especially supports monodrama, which is a play done by one actor. He said Fujairah wants to welcome new ideas and show good values to people everywhere. The festival brings together stories from all over the world. These stories help people understand each other better and feel closer as humans.

Mr. Mohammed Al Dhanhani said that the Ruler of Fujairah wanted this festival to be a place full of love, talks, and ideas. He said the event should be open to people from every country. The Crown Prince is also helping the festival grow bigger and stronger, so more people can come and enjoy.

Mr. Tobias Bianconi, a leader in the art field, said that Fujairah is working hard to be a world center for art and learning. He said people from many places will come to Fujairah to enjoy and learn about theatre.

At the end of the event, the Crown Prince gave awards to people and groups who helped support the festival. After that, there was a music and stage show called “From Fujairah to the Sunrise.” The show shared songs, dances, and stories about Fujairah’s past and culture. Many actors, writers, and people who love theatre came from Fujairah and other countries to be part of this happy event.
