Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has signed a major five-year partnership with Dubai Airports, making it the exclusive provider of taxi services at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). This agreement strengthens DTC’s reputation as Dubai’s top provider of high-quality transport services.
A Long-Standing Partnership
This deal highlights the strong relationship between DTC and Dubai Airports, built over many years to support the increasing number of travelers. DTC’s journey with Dubai Airports started in 1997 with just 100 taxis. Over the years, it has grown into Dubai’s biggest taxi operator. Today, DTC operates about 900 taxis at the airport, including 700 dedicated airport taxis. The company also provides pink taxis for women, families, and children, along with accessible taxis for People of Determination. Additionally, DTC has a premium limousine fleet of around 500 high-end vehicles.
Agreement Signing
The agreement was signed by Mansoor Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, and Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, in the presence of senior officials. This partnership ensures travelers receive top-quality transportation from the airport to their destinations.
Smart and Efficient Transport Services
DTC continues to improve its services using smart technology. Its taxis and limousines at Dubai Airports come with modern dispatch systems and easy-to-use booking apps. Travelers can book rides quickly, use cashless payment methods, and enjoy smooth, reliable transport. DTC’s control center closely monitors its fleet to guarantee safety and efficiency.
Mansoor Alfalasi, CEO of DTC, emphasized the importance of this agreement, saying, “This partnership proves the strong bond we have had with Dubai Airports since 1997. As the exclusive taxi service provider at Dubai’s airports for over 20 years, we are dedicated to making a great first impression on all visitors.”
He added, “With our skilled drivers and advanced technology, we are committed to improving our operations to match Dubai Airport’s rapid growth. Our goal is to ensure world-class transportation for all passengers.”
Growing to Meet Demand
In 2024, DTC doubled its airport taxi fleet to improve services. This expansion increased trips by 30%, reduced waiting times, and ensured faster rides, making travel smoother for everyone. It also reduced the need to pull taxis from the city to meet airport demand.
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, said, “Our mission is to offer every traveler a smooth and enjoyable journey from arrival to departure. Reliable and efficient ground transport is essential to achieving this. Through our partnership with DTC, guests at DXB and DWC can experience high-quality transport solutions, reflecting the speed and excellence we aim for at Dubai Airports.”
Commitment to Excellence
DTC remains focused on improving travel experiences for all visitors by offering world-class transport services. By following global best practices, DTC ensures a smooth and comfortable journey, enhancing Dubai’s reputation as a top destination for business and tourism.
This exclusive agreement aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, supporting the city's vision of becoming a global business and tourism hub. DTC is committed to building strong partnerships and offering innovative, sustainable mobility solutions that match Dubai’s future goals. As part of its 2025-2029 strategy, DTC aims to strengthen its leadership position, expand its services, and maintain its status as Dubai’s largest taxi operator and a key player in the transportation sector.
