The Dubai Content Creators Programme consists of multiple phases, each focusing on specialized media training across various fields, including economics, culture, sports, and society. Each phase is designed to address critical elements of creating targeted content and delivering tailored messages effectively to specific audiences. This structured approach ensures that participants gain the skills needed to navigate the rapidly evolving digital media landscape.
As the first phase of this initiative, the DPC will introduce the ‘Economic Content Creators Programme’ in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy and several leading financial media organizations. This phase aims to enhance the economic literacy of emerging media talents by equipping them with insights into the latest trends in economic reporting, which is increasingly vital in today's fast-paced digital environment.
His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, the Minister of Economy, highlighted the UAE’s efforts in establishing a robust legislative and regulatory framework for the media industry, in line with global best practices. He emphasized the significance of fostering partnerships between media institutions and the government to promote the UAE’s business environment and investment opportunities effectively. “This collaboration with Dubai Press Club reflects our vision for engaging with the media to highlight the UAE’s economic transformation,” he stated.
Al Marri noted that the Economic Content Creators Programme will enhance the competitiveness of business media by providing a platform for training content creators and journalists, allowing them to thoroughly analyze economic events and produce high-quality content.
Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, President of the Dubai Press Club, expressed her enthusiasm for the launch, stating that the programme reflects Dubai’s commitment to advancing the skills of emerging media talent. “We aim to deliver high-quality digital content across various fields, ensuring participants are well-equipped for the evolving media landscape,” she said.
The Dubai Content Creators Programme encompasses a range of training modules that cover essential aspects of content creation. Participants will engage in storytelling and creative writing exercises to develop engaging narratives that resonate with audiences. The curriculum also focuses on audience engagement strategies for digital platforms, teaching participants how to design effective content that captivates viewers and encourages interaction.
Training in multimedia design and production is another key component, where participants will learn to work with video, audio, and visual design techniques to enhance their messages. The programme will also cover the creative use of infographics to clarify information and elevate content quality.
Moreover, participants will receive training in research and analysis techniques, allowing them to gather information from diverse sources and enhance the credibility of their content. The aim is to cultivate a new generation of content creators capable of navigating the challenges of the media industry and producing high-quality digital content.
The programme also emphasizes collaboration among local and international content creators, encouraging participants to share experiences, exchange ideas, and foster creativity on a broader scale. This collaborative environment is designed to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for media innovation, preparing participants to meet the diverse expectations of their audiences.
Mahfoudha Abdullah, Specialist in Media Talent Development at the Dubai Press Club, announced that registration for the Economic Content Creators Programme is now open. Interested applicants must be aged between 20 and 45, proficient in both Arabic and English, possess basic knowledge of digital platforms, and commit to attending in-person training workshops.
This initiative marks a significant step forward in enhancing the capabilities of media professionals in Dubai, aligning with the city’s vision to foster innovation and excellence in the media sector. With the growing demand for high-quality digital content, the programme aims to empower participants to adapt to technological advancements and create content that meets the needs of a dynamic audience.
