Dubai Municipality has unveiled a revamped version of its Dubai Building Permits (Dubai BPs) application, a significant upgrade aimed at streamlining the building permit process and enhancing user experience. The newly redesigned app offers a comprehensive suite of services and features tailored for building owners, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders in Dubai's construction sector.

The enhanced Dubai BPs app introduces a range of new functionalities designed to improve convenience and efficiency. One of the standout features is a dynamic dashboard that provides building owners with detailed information about their land plots. Users can now utilize an advanced search function to locate registered consultants and contractors in Dubai. The app also enables building owners to evaluate these professionals based on various criteria, such as their current project load and performance metrics, helping them make informed decisions.

Another major addition is the integration of e-payment capabilities via Dubai Pay, allowing users to handle financial transactions and pay fees directly through the app. This feature simplifies the payment process and improves the overall user experience. The app also includes new services such as annex licensing and the ability to request and access approved engineering plans.

These updates are part of Dubai Municipality's ongoing commitment to advancing digital solutions and adhering to international standards. The aim is to enhance the quality of building licensing and control services, thereby supporting the development of a smart, sustainable, and competitive construction sector in Dubai.

The Dubai BPs app provides a user-friendly digital interface that facilitates access to essential services and information related to building regulations and construction standards. Users can easily track the status of their building license transactions, view notes from engineers, pay fees, book appointments, and access a wealth of reports concerning buildings, projects, transactions, and completion rates.

This initiative reflects Dubai Municipality's broader strategy to integrate technology into its services, contributing to the city's goal of maintaining its position as a global leader in smart and sustainable urban development.
