Billie Eilish Joins Green Day On Stage at FireAid Concerts

Billie Eilish surprised everyone by joining Green Day on stage during a big concert in Inglewood, California, on Thursday night. This concert, called FireAid, was organized to raise money for people hurt by the deadly wildfires in California. Billie Eilish was going to perform on her own later, but she came out early to sing Green Day's song "Last Night on Earth."

Before the show, Green Day's lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, shared how much the band cared about the event. He said that Los Angeles felt like a second home to them because they had made several albums there over the years. “We’ve been coming here for 30 years, so it’s really important for us to do our part,” Armstrong explained.

Many famous performers were part of the concert, such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Gracie Abrams, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sting, and Stevie Nicks. During the show, viewers could donate money to help people affected by the wildfires. They were given a number to text or a website to visit.

The money raised will be used to help people right now and also to stop big fires from happening again in the future. The Annenberg Foundation will help decide how the money is spent to make sure it goes to the right places.
