Benson Boone to open 2025 Abu Dhabi GP weekend

Famous young singer Benson Boone will sing on December 4 at Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi. He will be the first singer to perform during the 2025 After-Race Concerts. These shows are part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend fun.

This news came after it was told that Katy Perry, a world-famous pop star, will sing on the last night, making the ending very special.

Benson Boone is known for songs like "Beautiful Things" and "Slow It Down". His songs are full of feeling, and many people love his strong voice. He will sing as part of the Yasalam shows, which run for four days for all race ticket holders.

David Powell, a big leader at Ethara, said Benson Boone is a great pick to start the weekend of music and racing. He also said the team wanted to bring singers who young fans love. This way, all ages can enjoy the event.

Benson Boone became famous very fast. He has over 10 billion plays of his songs online. His concerts are sold out in many places, and many people like how he tells stories in his songs.

In January 2024, his song "Beautiful Things" was number 1 in many countries like the UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, and more. His first album, "Fireworks & Rollerblades", came out in April 2024. He also got a Grammy nomination in February 2025 for "Best New Artist".

Only people with Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets can watch the concert. If fans want to be closer to the stage, they can buy the Golden Circle upgrade, which gives them a better spot. Two more nights of big singers will also be announced soon, so fans are told to upgrade early.
