Allu Arjun Appears Before Chikkadpally Police for Pushpa-2 Stampede Quizzing

Actor Allu Arjun went to the Chikkadpally Police Station in Hyderabad at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, to answer questions about the stampede that happened during the promotion of his movie Pushpa 2. The stampede took place on December 4, 2024, and led to the death of a 35-year-old woman. Her 8-year-old son was also seriously injured and is still fighting for his life.

The police had prepared for a large crowd because of the actor's visit. They set up a barrier to keep the crowd and media away from the actor. Allu Arjun had received a formal notice on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:36 a.m., asking him to appear at the police station the next day for questioning.

The notice, signed by B. Raju Naik, the Inspector at Chikkadpally Police Station, explained that the case was still being investigated. It said the actor’s presence was important to help the police understand what happened during the incident and, if needed, to visit the scene where it took place. Allu Arjun was named as accused number 11 in the case.

Earlier, on December 13, 2024, the police had arrested Allu Arjun. He spent one night in Chanchalguda Jail before being granted bail the next day, on December 14, 2024.

The investigation is still going on, and the police are trying to find out the full details of what caused the stampede. This tragic incident happened during a promotional event for Pushpa 2, where many people had gathered, leading to the stampede and the death of the woman.
