Abu Dhabi is set to welcome a world-class institution for classical horsemanship as the Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts (ADREA) school opens its doors on 1 November 2025 at Jubail Island. The school will become the fifth in the world dedicated to preserving the haute école tradition, joining elite schools in Austria, Spain, Portugal, and France.
Spanning an impressive 65,000 square metres, ADREA is designed to provide a fully integrated environment where every detail prioritises the horse. The estate boasts a climate-controlled arena with a seating capacity of 1,200, 60 advanced air-conditioned stables, veterinary and rehabilitation facilities, training arenas, and shaded riding tracks, ensuring world-class comfort and care.

Beyond training, ADREA celebrates equestrian culture and craftsmanship. The Furussiya Gallery showcases rare artefacts tracing horsemanship history across centuries, while the UAE’s first equestrian saddle-making atelier revives traditional craftsmanship. Its library, among the largest globally, houses over 10,000 volumes, supporting education, research, and inspiration for riders and enthusiasts alike.
Education at ADREA spans from the Junior Academy to a four-year Rider Degree programme. The curriculum is inclusive, welcoming young riders including Children of Determination, and focuses on discipline, perseverance, and artistic mastery. The school’s integrated approach combines rigorous training with cultural and artisanal education, ensuring a new generation of riders embodies both skill and respect for equestrian heritage.
ADREA stands as a landmark for Abu Dhabi, bridging centuries-old equestrian traditions with modern excellence, reaffirming the UAE’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage while nurturing global talent in classical horsemanship.
