The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has given the Institute for Healthier Living Abu Dhabi (IHLAD) the license to be the world’s first special centre for Healthy Longevity Medicine. This is a big achievement because the centre passed all the standards set by DoH, making it the first of its kind in the world.

IHLAD will offer different services to help people live healthier and longer lives by focusing on preventing aging and stopping diseases. The centre will mix both prevention and treatment to help people improve their health. It will provide treatments that are designed to fit each person’s needs based on their health, lifestyle, and goals.
Dr. Rashed Obaid Al Suwaidi from DoH said, “We are excited to give the Institute for Healthier Living Abu Dhabi the license to be the world’s first centre for Healthy Longevity Medicine. These new rules show that we want to improve Abu Dhabi’s healthcare system. This also helps us move from just treating illnesses to preventing them and keeping people healthy.”
Dr. Nicole Sirotin, CEO of the Institute for Healthier Living, said, “The rise of diseases around the world means we need to focus on helping people live healthier lives and reducing long-term health problems. We are proud to work with DoH to introduce the world’s first guidelines for Healthy Longevity Medicine. These guidelines will set new standards for healthcare and help people live longer, healthier lives.”
IHLAD also supports the UAE’s goal to lead in healthcare and new ideas. As the world’s first approved centre for longevity medicine, it will help set new standards for Healthy Longevity Medicine and improve people’s lives worldwide.
The centre will take care of many parts of a person’s health, such as their lifestyle, medicines, mental health, and surroundings. It will also offer tests and treatments to prevent aging diseases, improve fitness, and help with recovery.
IHLAD is helping create a future where people can live better and longer lives through new healthcare methods that are proven to work.
