Gushcloud plans to bring more than 100 new jobs to Abu Dhabi. These jobs will be in areas like technology, finance, sales, and legal work. The company will also start a Creator Venture Programme (CVP). This programme will give money and business support to both local and international content creators. This step will make Abu Dhabi more attractive for creative people looking for work.
Gushcloud, which started in Singapore, now works in 13 countries and manages over 100,000 online creators, influencers, and celebrities. With this new expansion, the company will move its top managers to Abu Dhabi, making it their biggest office outside Singapore.
His Excellency Badr Al-Olama, head of ADIO, said that the partnership with Gushcloud will help Abu Dhabi grow as a leader in digital media. He said working with big companies like Gushcloud will bring more talent and ideas to the city. He added that this deal will support creators and help the city grow as a place for new digital ideas.
The deal will not only create jobs but also help make new media content. Gushcloud will work with local groups to offer training and internships for students at Abu Dhabi universities. This will help young people learn skills for jobs in digital media.
Althea Lim, CEO of Gushcloud, said they are excited about moving into Abu Dhabi. She praised the city’s growing digital industry and said it is the perfect place for their regional office. She said Abu Dhabi’s location and business-friendly rules make it a great base for their work in EMEA and India.
Gay Carr, Gushcloud’s Chief People Officer, said they want to hire more local people. She said the company will work with the Abu Dhabi government and universities to create more job chances for Emiratis. She added that building a strong local team is important for Gushcloud’s success.
The global content creator industry is worth about $250 billion now and is expected to reach $440 billion in the next few years. This deal is a big step for Abu Dhabi as it grows in this fast-moving industry.
By bringing Gushcloud to the city, Abu Dhabi will gain more jobs, attract creative talent, and strengthen its name in digital media. This move will also help Abu Dhabi become a leading place for digital ideas, business growth, and media development.
