Abdullah bin Salem Announces New Board of Directors for Al Thiqah Club

Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, has officially issued an administrative decision to form the Board of Directors for Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled. This decision marks a significant step in enhancing the governance and operational efficiency of the club, which is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities.

The newly formed board will be chaired by Khalid Omar Mohammed Hamad Al Midfa. The members of the Board of Directors include:

  1. Abdullah Khalifa Saif Al Shaer Al Suwaidi
  2. Abdulghafoor Ali Saleh
  3. Fahad Abdullah Mohammed Abdullah Al Balushi
  4. Kalithm Obaid Bakhit Al Matrooshi
  5. Mohammed Abdullah Ahmed Al Qaid Al Hammadi
  6. Maryam Ali Abdullah Al Shehhi
  7. Noura Jassim Mohammed Hamad Al Midfa
  8. Yousef Mohammed Ghuloum Al Dobi Al Mazmi

According to the decision, the Board will allocate administrative positions among its members during their first meeting. The board will also elect a Vice Chairperson either by consensus or through a direct secret ballot process.

The term for each board member is set for four years, with the possibility of renewal for additional terms starting from the date of this decision's issuance. Furthermore, the board is authorized to continue its duties beyond the term until a new board is formed or the existing one is renewed.

This decision underscores the commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that the club can effectively serve its community and promote their rights and well-being.
