Captain Saif Al Mheiri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Maritime and Acting Chief Sustainability Officer at AD Ports Group, commented on the awards, stating, "The success of last year’s inaugural Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards underscored the incredible achievements of marinas across the region. For the 2024 edition, we are excited to see even more entries highlighting best practices and elevating industry standards. These awards highlight our ongoing commitment to fostering excellence and recognizing the outstanding contributions of our maritime community."
The awards are open to all licensed marina owners or operators within the MENAT region, regardless of the size of their operations. Marinas that are industry innovators and have implemented positive changes within their respective categories are highly encouraged to participate. Applicants can choose to submit entries in one or multiple categories. Those opting to enter the Outstanding Marina category will be automatically considered for all other categories as well.
Each submission will be thoroughly evaluated by a panel of distinguished industry experts and regulatory bodies, ensuring an independent and fair assessment process. This meticulous evaluation will guarantee that the winners truly represent the best in the maritime industry.
The Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards serve as a significant initiative to showcase the remarkable progress and innovations within the maritime sector. By recognizing and rewarding excellence, the awards aim to inspire further advancements and set higher standards in marina operations across the MENAT region.
