Over 300 companies from 15 countries will attend the event. They will show products, machines, and new technology related to plastics, rubber, and elastomers. Visitors can learn about materials used to make plastic, finished products, and the machines that make them.
A special area will focus on plastic products. Around 30 companies will show their newest plastic items and hope to make deals with buyers from around the world.
There will also be talks and meetings during the exhibition. Experts, business leaders, and government officials will discuss how to grow Egypt's industry, find new markets in Africa, the Arab world, and Europe, and meet global standards.
The exhibition is expected to attract 15,000 visitors from Egypt and 50 international buyers. The goal is to double the number of business deals from the previous events. The exhibition is part of Egypt’s plan to reach $100 billion in exports by 2030.
The event is organized by two companies, Business Plus UAE Holding and Vision Fairs, which have organized over 200 successful events and helped businesses grow.
Khaled Abul Makarim, head of the Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council, said Egypt’s chemical industry is ready to grow. He said chemical products are important for many industries like farming and factories. The council aims to increase Egypt's exports of plastics, rubber, and elastomers to $3.8 billion by the end of 2025.
Mohamed Magid, Executive Director of the Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council, said the exhibition will help businesses in the Middle East and Africa. He also said the event will focus on finding ways to recycle plastic and reduce waste.
Ahmed Mustafa, Director of the "Afroplast" exhibition, said the event aims to be a major place for businesses to meet, make deals, and find new ideas. He said the event is being promoted to attract visitors from Egypt and nearby countries.
"Afroplast" 2025 is expected to bring many new opportunities for businesses in the plastics and rubber industries.
