US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, once again delighted attendees with his dance performance during the Diwali celebrations at the US embassy in Delhi. Showcasing his Bollywood dance skills, Garcetti enthusiastically danced to the popular song "Tauba Tauba" from the movie *Bad Newz*, starring Vicky Kaushal.
In a video shared online, the 53-year-old ambassador can be seen wearing a brown kurta and stylish sunglasses as he moves to the infectious beat of the hit song. This isn’t the first time Garcetti has impressed audiences with his dance moves; last year, he captivated guests during a Diwali celebration at the embassy by dancing to the iconic track "Chaiyya Chaiyya." This original song, released in 1998, features Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora performing an energetic dance atop a moving train.

Since his appointment as ambassador last year, Garcetti has fully embraced Indian culture and traditions, taking part in various festivals and events. His engagement with the local customs has resonated positively with both Indian and American audiences.
In a related celebration, US President Joe Biden hosted a Diwali event at the White House on Monday. The celebration saw over 600 prominent Indian Americans in attendance, including Congress members, officials, and corporate executives from across the country. Among the notable guests was Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams, who is currently aboard the International Space Station.
During the event, President Biden expressed his appreciation for the contributions of Indian Americans in strengthening the US-India relationship. "As we celebrate the journey of light, we also honor the invaluable contributions of Indian Americans who deepen the US-India bond. From New Delhi to DC, may the light of Diwali illuminate every corner of the world and spread the message of peace and prosperity," he stated.
Although Vice President Kamala Harris and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden were unable to attend the White House celebration due to their commitments on the campaign trail, the event underscored the importance of cultural ties between the two nations during this festive season.
