Uorfi Javed has once again turned heads with her latest fashion statement as the face of Rimple & Harpreet's new campaign. Known for her bold and unique style, Uorfi brought a fresh twist to bridal fashion in stunning couture pieces, showcased through a series of breathtaking pictures and videos shared by the designer brand on Instagram.

Rimple & Harpreet, the renowned designers behind the costumes of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s iconic films Padmaavat and Heeramandi, have now introduced a new collection that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern elegance. Drawing inspiration from their past creations, they designed four spectacular outfits for Uorfi, each telling a unique story. Let’s take a closer look at her stunning ensembles.

The Oxblood Velvet Lehenga – Inspired by Alauddin Khilji’s Look

For one of the campaign shoots, Uorfi wore a rich oxblood velvet lehenga, inspired by the regal aesthetic of Ranveer Singh’s Alauddin Khilji from Padmaavat. The lehenga was adorned with intricate zardozi embroidery, adding to its royal appeal. She paired it with a custom bejeweled bustier featuring a plunging sweetheart neckline, full-length embroidered sleeves, and a fitted silhouette. To complete the look, she wore an embroidered topi (cap), a wool scarf, and statement rings, and kept her hair in soft waves. Her bold kohl-lined eyes, flushed cheeks, and pink lips added to the striking appearance.

The Regal Rani Padmavati Lehenga

For her second look, Uorfi embraced a royal bridal aesthetic in a pomegranate pink lehenga set, inspired by Deepika Padukone’s portrayal of Rani Padmavati. The lehenga featured motifs drawn from antique brocade fragments and Mughal inlay patterns, giving it a rich historical touch. It was paired with a crystal-encrusted blouse and a heavily embroidered brocade dupatta. A delicate, detailed veil added to the elegance of the ensemble.

To accessorize, she wore two layered necklaces, a matha patti, a nose ring, bangles, kadhas, haath phool, rings, and jhumkis, reflecting traditional bridal jewelry. Her makeup featured soft pink eyeshadow, bold brows, pink lips, flushed cheeks, a glowing highlighter, and long, mascara-adorned lashes, giving her a radiant look.

The Modern Twist – Gharchola Saree and Pants

Breaking away from conventional bridal attire, Uorfi also wore Rimple & Harpreet’s signature Gharchola saree, giving it a contemporary twist. The saree was paired with a custom blouse embellished with semi-precious stones and handcrafted glass beads. Instead of the usual lehenga or petticoat, Uorfi wore archival RAH pants underneath, adding a modern and edgy touch to the ensemble. Her accessories included layered necklaces, bangles, a matha patti, and a haath phool, while her makeup remained minimal yet elegant.

The Vibrant Satrangi Leheria Lehenga

For her final look, Uorfi embraced a burst of colors in a Satrangi Leheria lehenga, a revival of the rare seven-colored dyeing technique once worn by Rajasthani royalty. The lehenga was paired with an archival Rimple & Harpreet cape blouse, decorated with intricate marodi ka kaam and resham embroidery, adding a rich, traditional touch to the modern outfit.

Through this campaign, Uorfi Javed redefined bridal fashion by effortlessly blending heritage craftsmanship with contemporary silhouettes. Her stunning transformation in Rimple & Harpreet’s ensembles showcased the beauty of traditional Indian attire with a modern flair, proving once again that she is a true fashion icon.
