President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE and President Aleksandr Lukashenko of Belarus met on Sunday to discuss the strong and growing bilateral relations between their two countries. They focused on ways to enhance cooperation further and explore new areas of partnership that will benefit both nations. They aimed to work together to advance development, prosperity and shared interests in various sectors.

The meeting took place during President Lukashenko’s working visit to the UAE, where he is spending several days. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Belarusian President and expressed his appreciation for President Lukashenko’s efforts to expand the UAE-Belarus relationship. He noted that both countries are committed to strengthening cooperation in many fields to ensure mutual growth and prosperity.
In addition to discussing ways to boost bilateral ties, the two leaders also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of common interest. They focused on global matters that impact both countries and how they can collaborate to address them.
President Lukashenko conveyed his sincere thanks to Sheikh Mohamed for the warm reception he received during his visit to the UAE. He emphasized the importance of deepening ties with the UAE and highlighted the potential for expanding shared interests between the two countries in various areas such as trade, investment, and economic development. President Lukashenko also acknowledged the continuous improvement in the relations between the UAE and Belarus, noting that both nations are committed to building a stronger, more fruitful partnership.
The meeting was attended by a number of high-ranking officials from the UAE, demonstrating the importance of the occasion. Among those present were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, the Minister of Investment; Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, the Minister of State; and Mohamed Al Abbar, the Chairman of Eagle Hills, a prominent real estate investment company.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts by both countries to further develop their diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties, to ensure long-term benefits for the people of the UAE and Belarus.
