On February 24, a chemical factory fire in Ajman, UAE, left nine Pakistanis injured. The Pakistan Consulate delegation, led by Community Welfare Attaché Imran Shahid, visited Zayed Hospital, Kuwaiti Hospital, and Al Qassimi Hospital to assess the condition of the injured. Akbar, from Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, went missing in the fire. Forensic analysis and DNA tests are ongoing on a burnt body, feared to be Akbar.

The fire occurred at a factory producing chemicals for sanitizers and perfumes. Ijaz from Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh, with 65% burns, has improved and been removed from the ventilator. Plans are underway to transfer him to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) Hospital in Abu Dhabi for specialized treatment.

Shahid, also from Shaheed Benazirabad, with 55% burns, is critical at Al Kuwaiti Hospital, Sharjah. Zahoor, from the same region, with 35% burns, is on ventilator support. The consulate team expressed gratitude to medical staff and assured ongoing support.

Sikandar, with 60% burns, is at Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah, on a ventilator. Consideration is given to moving him to SSMC Hospital, Abu Dhabi. The consulate team met ICU and emergency department authorities, treating doctors, and relatives to ensure maximum assistance. Consul General Hussain Muhammad emphasized their duty to provide all possible assistance to the victims.
