Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Welcomes 1.9 Million Visitors During Ramadan

During the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid holiday, many people came to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. A total of 1,890,144 people came to pray and visit the mosque. Out of these, 562,632 people came to pray. From them, 193,435 came for Isha and Taraweeh prayers, and 195,987 came for late-night Tahajjud prayers. On the 27th night of Ramadan, which is a very special night, 72,533 people came to pray. For Eid Al-Fitr prayer, 26,025 people came.

There were also 391,011 visitors who came just to see the mosque. During the Eid days, 122,819 people came. From them, 57,629 were worshippers and 64,959 were visitors who came to enjoy the calm and peaceful feeling of the mosque. Every day during Ramadan, about 11,240 people visited the mosque.

There were 289 tours for visitors, and 4,270 people joined them. Travel companies made 6,774 bookings, and those bookings brought 128,361 guests. Also, 75 special group visits were arranged, with 1,126 guests.

To help more people, the mosque added more workers in the call centre. They got 4,436 phone calls. With the help of Abu Dhabi TV, the mosque showed live prayers every day, and millions of people around the world watched them.

More than 2.6 million Iftar meals were given during Ramadan to people, showing kindness and care. The mosque also helped people at other big mosques in the UAE.

In Al Ain, at the Sheikh Khalifa Grand Mosque, 290,331 people came to pray. From them, 99,746 came for Isha and Taraweeh prayers, 76,491 came for Tahajjud, and 32,030 came for Eid prayer. This mosque also gave out 442,345 Iftar meals.

In Fujairah, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque welcomed 122,347 people who came to pray. Out of them, 61,084 came for Isha and Taraweeh, 27,662 came for Tahajjud, and 30,268 for Eid prayer.

In Ras Al Khaimah, at Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Grand Mosque, 39,783 people prayed during the month. This includes 19,577 for Isha and Taraweeh, 10,399 for Tahajjud, and 3,430 for Eid.

All of this shows how many people came together in peace and prayer. It was a time of sharing, caring, and faith, with people showing love and unity in a very special month.
