Sharjah Ruler Approves 3,578 Scholarships for Emirate's Students

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a significant allocation of 3,578 scholarships for students from the Emirate of Sharjah and children of female Emirati citizens. This generous provision aims to support their academic pursuits across various undergraduate programs and specializations at universities within the Emirate of Sharjah.

The distribution of these scholarships is as follows:

  • University of Sharjah: 1,818 scholarships have been sanctioned. This prominent institution will support a substantial number of students, enhancing their access to diverse undergraduate programs.

  • American University of Sharjah: A total of 165 scholarships have been approved for this university. The American University of Sharjah is known for its global standards of education, and this allocation aims to support students in their academic and professional development.

  • University of Al Dhaid: 808 scholarships have been designated for this university. The scholarships will assist students pursuing undergraduate degrees in various fields at this institution.

  • University of Kalba: 335 scholarships have been allocated. The University of Kalba will utilize these scholarships to support students in their educational endeavors.

  • University of Khorfakkan: 392 scholarships have been approved for this university, providing support to students studying in different undergraduate programs.

  • Sharjah Maritime Academy in Khorfakkan: 60 scholarships have been granted to this specialized academy. These scholarships will aid students pursuing maritime studies and related fields.
