To join, applicants must be between 18 and 45 years old. They must send in a classical Nabati poem that follows a set pattern of rhythm and rhyme. The poem should be no less than 10 lines and no more than 18 lines long. The poems must be typed; handwritten poems will not be accepted. Full details on how to apply can be found on the programme’s official website.

After the registration closes, a group of judges will go through the poems. They will choose the best ones based on their quality. The poets who are selected will be invited for interviews. Then, they will be chosen to compete in the live rounds, which will be shown on TV. The competition will take place at the Al Raha Beach Theatre in Abu Dhabi. A total of 48 poets will be picked to take part and compete for the Poetry Banner (Bayraq Al-Shi‘r) and the programme’s big prizes, which are the largest in the field of Nabati poetry.

Million’s Poet is the largest and most popular Nabati poetry competition in the Arab world. The show has become a major event for showcasing the beauty of Nabati poetry. It helps keep alive the traditions, values, and dialects of the Arab world, making it an important part of the culture.

The top six poets in the competition will win big prizes, with a total prize pool of over AED 15 million. The winner will be named Million’s Poet and will receive a cash prize of AED 5 million, along with the Poetry Banner. The second-place winner will get AED 4 million, third place gets AED 3 million, fourth place gets AED 2 million, fifth place will get AED 1 million, and sixth place will win AED 600,000.

Since it started in 2006, Million’s Poet has become the largest and most-watched Nabati poetry competition in the Arab world. Over the years, it has helped find and support many talented poets who are now well-known in the region. The show has helped bring back the beauty of Arab poetry and made sure that Nabati poetry is remembered and respected.

Each season, the show continues to support the UAE and Abu Dhabi’s mission of promoting culture and creativity. It helps celebrate the rich heritage of the UAE, encourages poets, and helps the public learn more about Nabati poetry. The programme also helps study and preserve Nabati poetry so that future generations can enjoy and appreciate it.
