Rajasthan's Palace on Wheels: Ideal for weddings, shoots, and corporate meetings!

The Rajasthan state government has granted initial approval to open the esteemed Palace on Wheels for various events, including destination weddings, corporate meetings, and wedding shoots. This strategic decision aims to position Rajasthan as a premier tourism destination globally. The opulent train, renowned for its beauty and luxury, will soon serve as the backdrop for significant events.

The government's in-principle approval reflects a broader vision to establish Rajasthan as a leading tourism destination. This move is expected to enhance the appeal of events in the state and promote appreciation for Rajasthani art, culture, and Vedic wedding traditions among international tourists, as emphasized by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari.

Couples opting for the Palace on Wheels as their wedding venue will not only create memorable moments but also act as tourism ambassadors for Rajasthan and India. Officials are currently planning to open the doors for such occasions starting this season, with exact dates and pricing packages to be announced soon. Online bookings will be facilitated, according to Principal Secretary (Tourism) Gayatri Rathore.

Operated by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC), the Palace on Wheels offers a unique and lavish setting for events. With 75% of the country's heritage properties, Rajasthan naturally stands out as a prime choice for destination weddings. This development signifies a significant step in showcasing the state's cultural richness and attracting global attention.
