Despite their efforts, Sritej's mom passed away, and Sritej was rushed to KIMS Hospital and admitted into the ICU due to his grave condition. How is Little Sritej Coping? Still in the hospital's ICU, Sritej is under doctors' care and placed on a ventilator, with diminishing needs for oxygen. His fever is on the decline and he's being fed via a tube. On December 17, 2024, the doctors updated on his condition stating: "While Sritej remains in the ICU and on a ventilator, his needs for supplemental oxygen are decreasing. His fever is also reducing and his vital signs are stable.
However, his brain has borne a severe impact and we are in the process of planning for a tracheostomy to aid his breathing." The medical team suspects that the brain injury might have been due to the lack of oxygen during the stampede, with his recovery prognosis still uncertain. The Police's Actions After the Incident The law enforcement officials indicted Sandhya Theatre and Allu Arjun's management for their failure to control the crowd.

A Heart-Wrenching Incident This occurrence has been heartbreaking. With his mother gone, Sritej is hanging on to life.
The overcrowded venue and poor crowd control led to the disaster that should have been a joyous event. All over the nation, people remain hopeful for Sritej's recovery, showing him love and kindness. This serves as a grim reminder of the necessity of safety measures at public happenings.
