Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli recently visited Rubiki Leather City, a place where factories are set up to make leather products. He wanted to show how important it is for the government to help different industries grow in Egypt. The government’s goal is to make Egypt better at making special technology products and also to help small and medium businesses grow and be more successful.
During his visit, Madbouli talked about how Rubiki Leather City is very important for Egypt’s leather industry. He said this city is where most leather products in Egypt are made, and it’s a big step for the country’s economy. This city is helping Egypt move forward in building a stronger industrial base.

The Prime Minister was joined by other important people during the visit, like Deputy Prime Minister Kamel El-Wazir, the head of the Industrial Development Authority Nahed Yousef, and Mahmoud Mahrez, the chairman of Cairo Investment and Development Company. Several foreign diplomats from countries like China, Italy, India, Turkey, Portugal, Spain, and Germany also attended. There were also many experts in the leather industry and business owners from both Egypt and other countries.
Madbouli explained that the government believes industries like Rubiki Leather City will help Egypt’s economy grow. The government is working hard to build better roads, improve transportation, and change the laws to make it easier for businesses to grow and for foreign investors to invest in Egypt. The government wants to make it easier for industries to thrive and become stronger in the global market.
One of the most exciting parts of the visit was the opening of the third phase of the Rubiki Leather Cluster. This phase includes 43 factories that are all set up and ready to make leather products. These factories are important because they help local leather makers produce high-quality products that can be sold in both the local and global markets.
Madbouli said that the Rubiki Leather City is a good example of what Egypt is trying to do with other industries. The government wants to build more cities and factories like this one that can help create jobs, support local businesses, and improve the quality of products made in Egypt.
These new factories in Rubiki will help the leather industry in Egypt grow. They will provide more jobs, improve the quality of products, and make Egypt more competitive in the world. This is a part of Egypt's big plan for 2030, which aims to build a strong, modern economy by supporting industries like leather, technology, and other growing sectors.
Through projects like Rubiki Leather City, Egypt is trying to build a strong economy that doesn’t depend just on older industries. The government wants to focus on new technologies and businesses to help the country grow. With all these changes, Egypt is becoming a place where people can build strong, successful businesses, and the government is working hard to make sure this happens.
