Mayank Agarwal brings his own water after falling ill during flight.

Mayank Agarwal, a prominent cricketer, encountered a serious health scare while on a flight last month. During his journey to New Delhi, he fell ill and had to be admitted to a hospital in Agartala, Tripura. Reports indicate that Agarwal experienced throat discomfort after consuming liquid from a pouch he found on his seat, presuming it to be water. His manager lodged a formal complaint with the police regarding the incident. The Superintendent of Police, West Tripura, Kiran Kumar, confirmed that Agarwal's condition stabilized after medical attention, but his manager filed a complaint for investigation.

According to the complaint, Agarwal consumed a small amount of the liquid before experiencing mouth irritation, rendering him unable to speak. He was subsequently transported to ILS Hospital, where he was diagnosed with mouth swelling and ulcers. State health secretary Kiran Gitte assured that authorities would investigate the matter and provide Agarwal with the necessary treatment.

Recently, Agarwal shared a photo on his social media account holding a water bottle, accompanied by the caption "Bilkul bhi risk nahi lene ka re babaaaaa (Will not take any risk)!" This post suggests that Agarwal is now cautious about the water he consumes while traveling. As an accomplished cricketer, Agarwal has represented India in 21 Tests and five ODIs, showcasing his talent on the international stage.
