Jammu-Srinagar Morning Flight Services to Begin April 1: Dr. Jitendra Singh

Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced on Saturday that a new daily air flight service will start between Jammu and Srinagar from April 1, 2025. The flight will depart from Jammu at 10 AM every morning.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Singh mentioned that this decision was made in response to complaints from government officials and business people. They had often said that there was no morning flight from Jammu to Srinagar, which made it difficult for them to travel back and forth on the same day.

Jitendra Singh further explained that the lack of a morning flight caused trouble for many, especially those who needed to return the same day for their work. He added that after receiving these concerns, a proposal was made to the Civil Aviation authorities. They have now agreed to start this regular daily flight service from April 1, 2025.
