A recent IndiGo flight faced scrutiny when a passenger, Tarun Shukla, exposed a cockroach infestation in the galley, raising significant concerns about onboard hygiene. Shukla shared a video on social media, criticizing the presence of cockroaches in the food area of the plane and urging IndiGo to investigate the issue.

In response, IndiGo took immediate action to address the situation. The airline initiated a thorough cleaning and disinfection process for its entire fleet, emphasizing its commitment to passenger safety and cleanliness. A statement from IndiGo acknowledged the incident, expressing regret for any inconvenience caused to passengers.

The airline stated, "Our staff promptly took the necessary action onboard. As a precautionary measure, we immediately cleaned the entire fleet and carried out fumigation and disinfection procedures. At IndiGo, we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene to ensure a safe, hassle-free experience."

Despite the airline's efforts to rectify the situation, social media users criticized IndiGo for allegedly neglecting hygiene protocols. Some passengers voiced dissatisfaction with their international flight experiences, citing delays and the absence of complimentary drinks. One user expressed an intention to avoid flying with IndiGo internationally.

However, a contrasting viewpoint emerged as another user defended IndiGo, appreciating the airline's quick resolution of issues. They emphasized the importance of prompt problem-solving in their positive experiences with the airline. In contrast, a more critical user claimed that IndiGo had declined from being one of the best to one of the worst, suggesting a need for a new budget carrier.

The incident triggered a diverse range of opinions on IndiGo's overall service quality, hygiene practices, and the airline's ability to handle unforeseen challenges.
