HM The Sultan, Emir of Kuwait engage in formal discussion

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, engaged in an official session of talks at Al Alam Palace.

At the commencement of the session, His Majesty extended a warm welcome to the Emir, acknowledging him as an esteemed guest of the Sultanate of Oman, and wished him and his accompanying delegation a pleasant stay.

In response, the Emir expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for the gracious welcome and hospitality extended.

During the session, both leaders delved into the longstanding and distinguished relations between Oman and Kuwait. They explored various avenues of cooperation between the two nations and discussed ways to enhance them in order to strengthen the fraternal ties between their peoples and promote further prosperity, progress, and welfare.

Additionally, the leaders addressed various topics in light of regional and international developments.

Representing Oman at the official talks were dignitaries including Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers; Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan; Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; and other key ministers and officials.

Representing Kuwait were prominent figures such as Sheikh Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Jarrah Al Sabah, Sheikh Hamad Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah, and several ministers and diplomats.

The discussions aimed at furthering cooperation and understanding between Oman and Kuwait were deemed fruitful and contributed to the ongoing strong relationship between the two nations.
