Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya said on TV that Hamas does not want small or short peace deals anymore. He said they now want one big full agreement. This deal should stop the war in Gaza, free all Palestinians from Israeli jails, and help fix and rebuild Gaza. In return, Hamas will let go of all the Israeli people it is keeping.

Al-Hayya said Israel’s leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, is using small deals to hide his real plan. He said Netanyahu wants the war to keep going, even if Israeli hostages are hurt. Al-Hayya said Hamas will not help with this plan.

People from Egypt are trying to help both sides talk and stop the war. A peace deal was made in January, but it ended. Talks started again, but still, there is no peace. This week, both sides met in Cairo, but they did not agree on anything.

Israel said it wants a 45-day break in fighting to get back some hostages. But Israel also said Hamas must put down its weapons. Hamas said no to that. Hamas said Israel gave too many hard rules. Hamas said it will only give back the hostages if the war ends. They will not give up their weapons.

Before, in January, Hamas let go of 38 hostages when fighting stopped for a short time. But in March, Israel started fighting again after Hamas did not agree to stop the war fully. Israel says it will keep fighting until all 59 hostages are free and Hamas has no more weapons.

On Thursday, Israeli air attacks killed at least 32 people in Gaza. Women and children were among the dead. One of the attacks hit a UN school in Jabalia. Six people died there. Israel said they were trying to hit Hamas fighters.

This war started on October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked the south part of Israel. In that attack, 1,200 people died, and 251 were taken to Gaza. Since then, over 51,000 Palestinians have been killed, local health groups in Gaza say. The war is still going on, and many people are in pain and trouble.
